Wine Marinated Lemon Butter Grilled Shrimp
Create this delicious Wine Marinated Lemon Butter Grilled Shrimp paired to perfection with Pomelo Sauvignon Blanc!
- 2 lbs jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Pomelo Sauvignon Blanc
- juice of 2 lemons, divided
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1/2 bunch parsley, finely chopped
In a large zip top bag, combine shrimp, the juice of one lemon, and salt.
Add enough Pomelo Sauvignon Blanc to cover the shrimp, and marinate for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator.
While the shrimp marinates, make your herb butter. Melt butter over low heat, then whisk in the remaining lemon juice.
Remove the shrimp from the marinade and pat dry. Place shrimp on skewers and lightly brush with lemon butter. Heat a grill over medium high and grill until shrimp is opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove shrimp from grill and brush with lemon butter again. Top with parsley.
